The farmhouse has been carefully furnished in the style and taste of the Maremma: terracotta floors, warm woods, wrought iron and colours borrowed from the surrounding countryside. The perfect place to retreat to after a day at the sea, exploring medieval villages, walking or cycling — and enjoy a quiet, refreshing evening in the hills.
The property is divided into two independent apartments — living room, separate kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms each — sharing the swimming pool. From the large terraces the view sweeps over the valley between Prata and Boccheggiano and, on clear days, reaches all the way to the Island of Elba and Monte Amiata. Perfect for one family, or for two travelling together while keeping their own space.
From Prata you can reach the beaches of the Gulf of Follonica in about half an hour — including the wild, walk-in-only cove of Cala Violina — and in the other direction the medieval piazzas of Massa Marittima, the geothermal landscapes of Monterotondo, the abbey of San Galgano and, a little further, Siena and Volterra.
